About this event
This is the Parks On The Air Spring Support Your Parks (SYP) event. If you can make at least one contact either hunting or activating, you will receive a certificate.
I will be set up and ready to roll, hopefully by 8 AM with my equipment out at Millerton Lake State Recreation Area, near the Fresno County boat launch areas, up by the picnic area. You should see my white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck there.
You are welcome to come out and use my equipment, or you can setup your own . This is a good opportunity to get involved in Parks On The Air and see what it is all about. This is also a good opportunity to go remote with your radio equipment and practice remote operations.
If there is rain that morning, then I will cancel. If I do cancel, I will update the web page to show the cancellation. Radio equipment and rain don't mix. Please review the website before coming out to be sure if the weather is bad.
