This is a transmitter hunt using the 2 meter band and will transmit the beeps on 146.565 Simplex.  

We will be starting off at Letterman Park in Clovis on Sept 14th at 10 AM.  This event will be judged based on mileage traveled from the starting point to the location where the transmitter will be hidden.  Please make sure to check in at the starting point and let them know your call sign(s) and starting mileage.  In the past, the winner was determined by the operator who first finds the transmitter.  This run will allow operators who have to stop and triangulate directions a chance to compete based on distance travelled as opposed to those who get there the quickest.
