About this event
This is another test of running the weekly CARP Net in Simplex mode. This forces the CARP membership to learn how to switch their radios into a simplex mode and to also learn some of the methodologies of participating in a simplex net.
This also forces the Net Control team to learn a process on running a simplex net and how to handle some relays from outlying stations that are not in an easy reach of the net control station. This is a learning opportunity for all if the repeaters go down and we need to rely upon the CARP group for help.
This net will be run on 146.865 Simplex.
