This is for the Parks on the Air Winter Support Your Parks event. I am planning on going on 1/16/22 and being there about 8 AM. This is a Sunday. The POTA park number assigned to this park is K-8325.

1) I have room to take 1 or 2 additional people in my truck and carry any equipment.

2) I am planning on hitting the Fresno county side of the park and will be locating near the restrooms on the west side of the parking lot.

3) There is a $10.00 per vehicle admission fee. I will be covering my own vehicle, but if anyone wants to attend and drive there in their own vehicle, they will need to cover their own entrance fee.

4) I will be setting up my HF equipment and solar panels and will guide newbies on POTA and how it works. If they have their own portable equipment, please feel free to bring it and setup and participate. Technician class users do have access to some of the bands used within POTA, but it is more limited for Technician class as opposed to General and Extra class operators.

5) There are restrooms on site but no other facilities. If you attend, please remember to bring your own drinks, snacks, and/or a lunch. There are some picnic tables and covered areas, but if crowed, please think about bring tables and chairs for your setup.

6) There is no electrical power where I setup, so please be prepared to use your own portable power sources.

If anyone is interested in Parks on the Air, I would suggest that they check out the Parks on the Air website, www.parksontheair.com. There is no charge to register, but the website is quite extensive and lots of information available. There is also a Parks on the Air Facebook group which is quite active and informative.

If anyone is interested and wants/needs a ride to the park or would like more information, please have the contact me at hhopper@pacbell.net or (559)269-6138. Otherwise, I will see anyone attending at the park. I will be driving my white Tacoma pickup truck.
