Welcome to the Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers
The Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers (CARP) was established in 1994. The purpose of the organization is to provide public service communications in support of community activities and emergencies, to develop individual proficiency in wireless communications and related areas, to further cooperation between local, state, and federal entities, and to stimulate the interest of the general public community in amateur radio communications.
Not For Profit
CARP established itself as a non-profit organization and received 501(c)3 status in 1995. As a non-profit, focus is on providing assistance with community organizations as well as enhancing the knowledge and skill of its members in radio technology.
CARP Mission Statement
The mission of CARP is “to advance and promote all aspects of amateur radio communications while serving the public interest in Fresno/Clovis, CA and the surrounding communities.”
Public Service
CARP provides communication and safety support for various events around the Fresno, Madera, Mariposa, and Kings Counties. Many events have been held to support the missions and vision of several key community organizers, including:

CARP Meetings
The Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers holds monthly membership meetings on the first Friday of nearly each month (dark in July and August) at the Clovis Senior Center located at 850 Fourth Street in Clovis.
