Offering Discounts
Do not immediately offers customers the available discounts. Use it as an up-sell tool. For example a customer comes to the stand on June 29 and thier purchase amount is $89.00...Let them know that if they spend over $100.00 they are eligible for at 20% discount though the month of June.
Remember only the approved discounts can be given and must be recorded in the POS.
Customers asking for the best price or better discount
Let the customers know that DFS products are already discounted 20-45% from our competitors similar products. Also let them know, we are a non-profit fundraiser.
We accept Credit and Debit Cards
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover card as payment. In addition we accept Debit Cards if they have a Visa or Master Card logo on them.
Efficient Use of time with Customer
The stand can get very busy at anytime. Do not spend a lot of time with the small counter items. Attempt to upsell an assortment and a finale.
