Due to the Garnet Fire, we have chosen to return to Madera County for the 2025 California QSO Party the weekend of October 4 & 5, 2025.
Some of the group will be heading up Thursday and Friday before the contest to enjoy a bit of camping. The site is a dry campsite — no water, toilets, or power — so please plan to bring everything you’ll need. On the plus side, there’s plenty of space for antennas.
We’ll be operating under the club callsign K6ARP.
?? This allows all license classes to operate in the General and Extra portions of the band under supervision.
Our operating plan is Multi/Two, meaning we’ll have two stations on the air at once. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t have more radios set up! The initial plan is to run a couple of antennas and two radios, but you’re encouraged to bring your own gear — we can mix it into the setup.
