This is a Support Your Parks weekend for Parks On The Air and I will be out at Millerton near the Fresno County boat launching area (as usual).  If you make at least one contact, either hunting or activating, you will earn a certificate from Parks On The Air.

I am planning on trying to activate the park via FT8.  This would be my first attempt at activating using FT8.  I have used FT8 a little, but this will be my first attempt at a full activation.  If you are interested in FT8, come out and take a look at my ICom 7300 setup.

One of the nice things about a Support Your Parks weekend is that there will be a large number of potential contacts on the air.  This is definitely a great opportunity to work on your "Worked All States" hunting certificate.
